Meet The Foreman Family

We first visited Cape Charles during the pandemic in May 2020 seeking a change in environment from our home in Glen Allen, Virginia. We rented a house with our girls, Lucy and Charlotte, and our dog, Ziggy, in the Marina Villages neighborhood of Bay Creek, and fell in love with the area. We came back to visit a few more times after that and decided we were ready to make Cape Charles our second home. The area reminded me (Amy) of the town where she grew up on the shore in Bay Head, N.J.--a quick walk, bike or golf cart ride to the beach, quaint shops, top-notch restaurants, and a nice community--almost reminiscent of Mayberry. Some of our favorite things to do include golf carting around town, enjoying the beach and pool, paddle boarding, listening to concerts in the park, entertaining family and friends, and most of all, watching the amazing sunsets--they never get old. Cape Charles is the perfect escape that offers plenty to do, but is also a great place to simply rest, relax and unwind.
